Configure Hotspot 2.0 settings.

Prerequisite.

This is a limitation when using this function.

• Support Status of PCWL Series

  • PCWL-04xx：Not supported

  • PCWL-05xx：Firmware version 1.3.0 or later

  • PCWL-0530E：Firmware version 1.3.0 or later

To enable 802.11u / Hotspot, "Authentication and encryption method" must be one of "WPA2-EAP/WPA-EAP mixed mode", "WPA2-EAP", "WPA3-Enterprise", "WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise" and "WPA3-Enterprise (192-bit mode)."

Please contact the administrator of the provider of the upper stream service such as OpenRoaming for the appropriate setting values when using this function.

About the settings

Configure settings from the 802.11u tab displayed for each SSID.

To enable this function, turn on "Enable 802.11u / Hotspot" and make each setting.

The possible settings are as follows

• Network type

• Enable internet access

• Venue group and type

• Venue information

• Enable ASRA (Additional step required for Acceess)

• Enable ESR (Emergency service reachable)

• Enable UESA (Unauthenticated emergency service accessible)

• HESSID

• Roaming consortium list

• Network authentication method

• IPv4 address availability

• IPv6 address availability

• Domain name

• 3GPP cellular network information

• NAI Realms

• Enable DGAF (Downstream group-addressed forwarding)

• Operator name

• Connection capability
