Change Node Settings
You can modify the internal settings of the node using PicoManager®.
To individually modify settings
To change settings such as backhaul or access point configurations, go to the menu and select "Show Node Settings" to display the settings for each node.
Choose the desired node and click.
The information specific to the selected node will be displayed.
Enter the necessary information, and click the "Save" button, which will prompt a dialog box.
The "Apply" button is used only for saving the settings. It will continue to operate with the previous settings until a reboot or configuration reload is performed, at which point it will start functioning with the updated settings.
The "Apply Immediately" option performs both saving the settings and reloading the configuration simultaneously. When the configuration is reloaded, the backhaul or access point functionality will temporarily stop.
To make bulk changes using templates
If you want to apply common settings to multiple nodes, create a node settings template in advance.
To create a node settings template, go to the menu and select "Node Settings template" and then click the "Create New Template" icon.
A dialog box titled "Create New Template" will appear. Select the desired template type based on the product and firmware combination you are working with.
The AP template is used to register settings related to access points.
The System template is used to register settings related to system configuration and PicoManager® features.
Select one of the templates, enter the desired settings, and click the "Save" button.
Edit Setting Template
To modify a registered node settings template, click on the "Edit Setting Template" icon.
The "Edit Setting Template" dialog box will appear. Enter the desired settings and click the "Save" button.
Apply Setting Template
To apply a registered node configuration template to a node, click on the "Apply Setting Template" icon.
The "Target Node" dialog box will appear, select the node to apply the template to, and click the "Apply" button.
The "Apply" button saves the settings and operates with the previous configuration. To start operating with the updated settings, you need to perform a reboot or configuration reload.
The "Apply Immediately" option saves the settings and performs a configuration reload simultaneously. During the configuration reload, the backhaul or access point functionality temporarily stops.
